The new update bumps the Xbox app to version 3.3.10007.00000 bringing new additions. After the update users will notice new buttons for Achievements, Alerts, Game DVR, and Connect to Xbox. The app now includes the same functionality as the SmartGlass app, which means that users can remote control their Xbox with any Windows 10 device. The new update also brings OneGuide support and the ability to stream and download clips from the community using the Game DVR feature. The Activity Feed features the ability to like comments and delete content you have posted on your feed. The User Profile now collapse to show more information on the screen. Friends Search also got smarter, now you find friends by gametag, and real name. Also, you can search by game tile name to quickly see, which of your friends are playing that particular game. The app is now more responsive as it properly adapts the elements on the screen as you resize the window. Starting today, you’ll be able to see recently played games across devices, including Windows 10 devices, Windows Phone, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. If you are a Windows Insider the Xbox app will update automatically. If the app takes longer than expected to update, you can go to the Windows Beta Store, search for the app and click Install, to update. Back in the Windows 10 press event in January, the company promised that streaming games from Xbox One to a Windows 10 PC is coming, but this isn’t a feature released on this new update of the Xbox app for Windows 10.
