According to the announcement, the July 2022 update introduces a new advanced networking feature that enables app access to local network devices for ARM computers. The company also enabled IPv6 and VPN connectivity, enhancing the networking functionalities of the subsystem. Also, since the subsystem no longer has a different IP from your computer, the IP address has been removed from the “Developer” section. As for the known issues, this release has only one problem with some VPNs that may not work with Advanced Networking. The Windows Subsystem for Android update should download and install automatically.
