This time around, Microsoft is making available (via Neowin) a new set of Intel microcode updates for almost every supported version of Windows 10 to mitigate several variants of the Spectre security flaw. These are standalone updates that you need to download from the Microsoft Update Catalog website and install manually. Here are the download links (via ghacks):

Along with the previous mitigations, these updates also contain protections against the Spectre variant 3a and 4.
