Windows 10 build 10149 brings a number of improvements over the previous official release, more importantly, those Insiders who opted out to rollback to Windows Phone 8.1 in order install build 10136, now can install build 10149 normally on top of Windows 10 build 10080. There are a few things that aren’t working, such as the Lock screen freezing up after the upgrade delaying date and time to appear for up to 10 minutes remains in this build, however it also brings a few changes in the user interface: Microsoft finally brands the browser “Microsoft Edge” on the mobile operating system, Cortana gets closer to its final stage, there is an updated Photo app for Windows 10, automatic camera upload via OneDrive is now enable and much more. Getting build 10149 is very easy, if you’re already registered as a Windows Insider, go to Settings / Update & security / Phone Update and check for the new build – Keep in mind that Windows 10 build 10149 is only available through the Fast ring of updates, as such make sure your phone is set to the Fast ring in the Insider app. Source Microsoft All content on this site is provided with no warranties, express or implied.
