This year thanks to Microsoft and Google, no matter what device you own, you don’t have any excuse to track Santa going around the world. Like last year, Microsoft once again is working with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (“NORAD”) to create the ultimate Santa Tracker website. The NORAD Santa Tracker website is a renovated site that includes the most advanced technology to track Santa using Bing Maps. It features a traditional holiday style optimized for touch-enabled devices. The NORAD tracker also includes free easy to play Christmas games for the whole family, a collection of holiday tunes, the countdown to Christmas Eve, and a lot more. On December 24th, anyone can track Santa on the interactive, 3D globe, and click on every stop to get Christmas related search results with images and facts about each location. Although, you can simply visit the NORAD Track Santa site on your web browser, the site is also available as an app for Windows, Windows Phone with the ability to track Santa using Cortana (try asking “Where is Santa Now?”). And you can download the app on Android and iOS too.

Google on the other hand has its own tracking system, Google Santa Tracker. On Christmas Eve, visitors will be able to follow Santa as he travels around the world on his sleigh with Google Maps technology. Like NORAD, you can follow the progress and learn about every stop along the way. Google Santa Tracker is a touch optimized totally revamped site, featuring the Santa village with the countdown to Christmas Eve, games, messaging system to contact Santa, and a lot more. You can download Google Santa Tracker on your Android device or you can visit the site from any device including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows Phone, and PCs.

Bonus

Windows Phone users can also download the Talking Santa app, which is a new app for Windows Phone 8.1 that let you send funny, short digital holiday cards and videos to anyone. The app is available for Android and iOS.
