New Windows 10 rumor suggests that the next version of the operating system will include at least two new features, including a night mode option to reduce eye strain while using the computer at night and “People Bar” to let you quickly contact other people right from the taskbar. This week, Microsoft finally pushed a new update to fix the battery drain issue with Surface Pro 3 devices featuring Simplo batteries. In addition, new firmware update also rolls out to Surface Book and Surface Pro 4. Office 365 also gets an update improving Windows Ink on Office Mobile, Visio comes to the web and iPad, and the suite of apps for mobile devices gets some security improvements. IFA 2016 happened this week and a number of PC manufacturers showed off their new Windows 10 devices coming later this year, including from Acer with the Swift 7, Spin 7, and Predator 21 X. Lenovo unveiled the Yoga 910 convertible and Miix 510 tablet. And HP introduced the Pavilion Wave and Elite Slice computers with small design form factor, but with powerful hardware. For Xbox One fans, you already know that background music is now a supported feature, and this week Pandora is the next app gettting support to play music while playing games.
