The end of Surface 3

It’s been confirmed this week that Microsoft is planning to stop the manufacturing of the Atom-based Surface 3 tablet by the end of 2016. There is no word at this moment to introduced a successor. Surface hardware refresh is expected to happen with the release of Windows 10 “Redstone 2”, which will release in early 2017.

Docker native app available on Windows 10

Docker is an open source software that allows developers to run applications inside containers that can easily move to other computer — just like portable apps –. Containers most of the time rely on one operating system and they are more efficient than running apps on virtual machines. Now a Docker app is available for Mac and Windows, and it doesn’t require software virtualization, such as VirtualBox to work. Instead, you can run it using Microsoft Hyper-V or HyperKit on Mack.

Netflix offline is coming

You always needed an internet connection to watch Netflix, but now things are changing. It’s been reported that Netflix is now working on a download and go video feature to allow users to watch video offline. The feature is expected to roll out by the end of the year.
