You’ve never seen something like it, Panasonic’s Touchpad 4K is capable of pushing 9,830,400 pixels on a 20-inch touchscreen display, which makes it every graphic designer’s dream. It also has 230 PPI (Pixels Per Inch) which is more than the MacBook Pro with retina display and this translates on crisper text, video, and pictures. According to a new Extreme Windows Blog post, Panasonic Touchpad 4K also includes a digital pen that makes use of new technology for “perfect” accuracy interacting with the touch-enabled display. “This positional precision is complemented by 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity which yields a high-fidelity pen input capability for writing, sketching, and UI input.” — Microsoft said.

The interesting part of this new Ultra HD tablet announcement is that the battery life performance details are nowhere to be found, which pushes me to believe that it isn’t really good. And there is already a mention of a new “high-performance” version coming in 2014. But heck, if you’re a graphic designer and you are looking for the latest and greatest, you cannot beat 4K.
