On phones, tapping and holding the search key will launch Cortana, where users can immediately ask questions in natural language, set reminders, and various other tasks. The digital assistant, when configured, will always be actively listening for the key phrase “Hey, Cortana”. However, thus far it’s been more practical to launch Cortana manually....

With the new Settings app, Microsoft is trying to bring all the PC settings in a single hub while moving away slowly from the old Control Panel. If you’re a Windows Insider and you updated to build 10041, you probably noticed that Mail, Calendar and People apps are not opening or you may not even see them listed in “All Apps”. According to the list of known issues listed by Microsoft, it seems that there is a few problems with licensing in the Store (beta). Naturally, if you don’t see them listed in “All Apps” or the apps just aren’t opening, you probably are thinking on going to the Store to try to reinstalled them again, but this issue doesn’t have such an easy workaround....
