In Microsoft news this week, the software giant revealed all the work they have been doing for the up coming version of their operating system, and this time they gave us a glimpse on how Windows 8 installation is going to be a lot easier and a lot painless than in previous versions. Continuum is a new mode in Windows 10 that bridges the gap between a regular desktop and full experience view for those convertible devices. To get a general idea of how this works, Microsoft posted a new video in YouTube (with not sound that you can watch above) demoing a motion study of the new mode. The basic idea is to create a smart UI for those 2-in-1 devices that changes its mode depending whether you have a keyboard and mouse present or absent, just to adjust the Windows 10 graphical user interface, so it feels very familiar and makes the device work great on both mode....

There are different ways to get access to the Personalization settings: You can right-click on the desktop, click on Display settings, click the back button to go to the main section, and click Personalization. Alternatively, you can launch the Start menu, click Settings, and then click on Personalization. In addition, while in Personalization, you can click the pin-icon in the top-right corner to pin Personalization to the Start menu for faster access....

Although you can technically continue to use version 2004 since Microsoft no longer offers support for this release, computers running this version will stop receiving security and quality updates, and you can no longer contact the company for support. If you have a device still using the May 2020 Update, the system will soon upgrade automatically to the next supported version, which in this case will be version 20H2 (October 2020 Update)....

The new version is available as an optional install through the Windows Update settings.
