FreeSync and G-Sync are both adaptive sync features that synchronizes the refresh rate of your monitor with the graphics card to deliver smoother frames while reducing tearing and stuttering, which is one of the most important features to have on gaming. While both are virtually the same technology, FreeSync is used by AMD and G-Sync is used by Nvidia adapters, and they have been incompatible, which meant that if you had an Nvidia graphics card, you needed to buy a far more expensive G-Sync compatible monitor to benefit from this feature....

At the official Windows blog, Dona Sarkar, head of the Windows Insider Program at Microsoft, said that starting with build 17704, Sets in no longer part of Windows 10. However, the feature is expected to return in a not so distant feature, as Sets has now been taken offline to continue adding improvements “to the visual design and continuing to better integrate Office and Microsoft Edge into Sets to enhance workflow” before it’s available to everyone....
