Today Microsoft is stepping up to remove the third-party from the equation and allowing eligible students to sign up by themselves and download Office 365 on their own.

Requirements

Your school has to be using Microsoft Office purchased via the Microsoft Volume Licensing program You must be 13 years old or older You must supply a valid email address provided by the school

What do you get?

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access, and Publisher. 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage from Microsoft Installation on up to 5 PCs or Macs, and mobile Office apps for iPad and Windows tablets Access to Office Online

Instructions

Head over Office 365 for Students and click “Find out if you’re eligible” Enter a valid school-provider email address and click Set up Check your email account and click the link “Complete Office 365 Education signup” Fill out the short application with your personal information and click Start Finally, you’ll be taken to a new page where you can download Office 365 for PC or Mac
