Because Microsoft is making the band cross platform, we also have an app for Windows Phone, iOS, and Android. But now the company is also making available for download a version of the software for Windows, and like its traditional desktop applications, you can install it in Windows 8.x, Windows 7 SP1 or later, and in Windows 10, if you’re currently testing the Technical Preview. The company simply labeled the app “Microsoft Band Sync app for Windows” and describe it as “The Microsoft Band Sync app for Windows seamlessly syncs your Band to the cloud with the same account that you use from your phone companion app.”
