If you heard around the internet, for some time now, Microsoft has been trying to buy Yahoo and that did not happen. Microsoft instead figure out how they can work with Yahoo as a partners. So Microsoft decided to have an agreement, where Bing will power Yahoo search results as well as power their ad delivery service. Right now Bing is powering the “organic” search result for users in the U.S. and Canada (“English only for now, the other languages will come in the weeks and months ahead”). Over the coming months Microsoft will be spreading the Yahoo search results to include other countries and hopefully for the holiday season Microsoft will be powering Yahoo ad based service as well. So, for everyone out there, this partnership still alive and in which other way can we tell? Well, pretty simple go to Yahoo home page and do a search for anything you like and you will notice at the bottom of the search result page the words: “Powered by Bing”, yeah that is right! You are now using Bing to search in Yahoo!
