“IE10 continues IE9’s precedent of enabling Web applications to do more in the browser without plug-ins. It also continues the pattern of offloading work to the parts of a PC that are best suited for them, like the GPU for graphics, and different processor cores for background compilation of JavaScript.” Said Dean Hachamovitch the leader of the IE team at Microsoft. “As different browsers support developers using the same markup to achieve the same results with great performance, we can all realize the promise of HTML5 applications.”
Internet Explorer 10 is expected to be available only for Windows 7 and in the next version of Microsoft’s operating system code name Windows 8.
