All this means after January 12, 2016, Microsoft will no longer provide any kind of updates or support for Internet Explorer 8, 9, or 10, leaving the web browser vulnerable to exploits from malware, malicious attacks, and compatibility issues. As such, it’s very important that if you’re running an older version of Internet Explorer to upgrade to version 11 as soon as possible.
