At first glance Adobe Reader is a straight-forward app, you can easily open PDF documents from emails attachments, via the web and of course from your local hard drive. Now if you compare this Windows Store app with the Microsoft Reader, Adobe Reader comes in second place as it lacks of basic features. For example, with Adobe you only get single page view and contiguous, while with Reader you also have the 2-page view option. Furthermore, Microsoft PDF app comes with more basic features, not yet found in Adobe Reader, such as rotate, info, and save as. However Adobe’s app has a better and more intuitive bookmarks feature. Overall the app work good and if you are accustomed to the brand, you’ll be happy to know that you can count with the app in either Windows 8 or Windows RT. If you want to learn more, just install the app and click the big red Get Started button, which will open a PDF document with all the instructions you need.
